Obituary for William J. Nowokunski

William J.   Nowokunski
Clinton-William J. “Bill” Nowokunski, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 5, 2018. He is survived by two siblings, Daniel M. Nowokunski & wife Linda of Oak Island, NC; and Linda Griffith, wife of the late Gary Griffith, of Bybee, TN; nieces and nephews, Joanna Harrison, Jeffrey, Tony, and Hayley Lantrip, Jonathan, and Daniel Nowokunski, Jr., Matthew and Phillip Griffith; several great-nieces & nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Bill was born in New Haven, CT to the late Michael & Mary (Weaver) Nowokunski. Upon his family relocating and settling in Shirley, Bill attended local schools and graduated from the Ayer High School, Class 1966. He moved to Clinton and worked for many years as a machine operator for Injectronics before managing a local gas outlet in Clinton. Bill was a fierce and loyal fan of the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. A brilliant mind, Bill was talented in all aspects of trivia knowledge and was a voracious reader. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a dedicated brother, uncle, and friend. Funeral services will be held privately while entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of William J.
