Obituary for Terrill L Bashaw (Thomas)

Terrill L  Bashaw (Thomas)
Lancaster-Terrill L. (Thomas) Bashaw, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Keystone Center in Leominster. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward R. Bashaw. She is survived by her loving children, Jenine Carville of Leominster; Errol E. Bashaw of Louisville, KY; Jodi Hamilton & companion Russ Sierra of Fitchburg; Randall R. Bashaw of Lancaster; and Juliette Collins and fiancé Benoit Guerin of Fitchburg. She leaves her siblings, Ronald Thomas, and Jeffrey Thomas, both of FL; Coralie Oliveira of RI; Lucille Schnagle of CO; Thurlow de Horsey of Leominster; 15 grandchildren, Jessica, Janice, Jaime, Joshua, Nicole, Michelle, Kristen, Mary, Lindsey, Steven, Michael, Brittni, Sarah, Laura, and Joseph; 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her siblings Brian Thomas and Gail Connelly.
Terrill was born in Clinton to the late Austin & Olive (Collins) Thomas. She was raised in Lancaster and was a graduate of the Lancaster High School, Class of 1956. In addition to raising her family, Terrill was employed for more than twenty years as a cafeteria worker with the Lancaster Public School System. She held a great passion for music, studied classical voice, and sang in numerous church choirs. Terry enjoyed many years of family camping trips and extensive travel with her husband Ed throughout the United States and abroad. Together they bowled for many years in leagues at Putnam Lanes in Fitchburg and exercised daily at Orchard Hills Athletic Club. She looked forward to summers spent at the beach and time in her extensive garden. Terry will be forever missed and remembered lovingly as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Funeral services are to be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours will be held from 5 until 8PM on Monday, February 5, 2018 in the funeral home.
