Obituary for Michael J. Boyd Jr.

Michael J.  Boyd Jr.
Clinton-Michael J. Boyd, Jr., 40, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2018 following a tragic accident while kayaking on Dorothy Pond in Millbury.  He is survived by his loving wife Holly (Azud) Boyd and four adoring children, Zachary Lamb, Savannah Bouchard, Timothy and Gregory Boyd.  He leaves his parents, Michael & Jo-Ann (Russell) Boyd of Millbury; two sisters, Cheryl Lauria and her husband Jeff of Hubbardston; Christine Vickers and her husband Fred of Grafton; his maternal grandmother, Doris Russell of Millbury; father and mother-in-law Ross & Kristyn Azud of Clinton; sisters and brothers-in-law, April Cover & husband Chris of Templeton; Michael Azud and Nicholas Azud of Clinton; nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. 
Mike was born in Worcester, raised in Grafton, and graduated from Blackstone Valley Technical High School, Class of 1996.  Mike worked for both Nypro, Inc. and Weetabix Company in Clinton before driving truck for several local area businesses.  He was an avid outdoorsman, adventurer, and fisherman.  A dedicated Bruins and Patriots fan, Mike also enjoyed playing hockey with his boys and cheering them on at all of their sporting events.  Above all, he was a devoted husband and father who loved his family more than anything in the world. 
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5 until 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.  Funeral services will later be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to assist The Boyd Family at www.GoFundMe.com  Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
