Matthew M. Lugo
Clinton-Matthew M. Lugo, 30, adventurer, entertainer, artist, and daredevil, lived life to the fullest before leaving us too soon on Saturday, December 1, 2018.  He will be forever missed by his parents, Victor & Mary (O’Connell) Lugo of Eastford, CT; his sister, Corina Lugo of Coventry, CT; generations of aunts, uncles, and cousins within the Lugo, O’Connell, Suarez, and Rivera families.  He is pre-deceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Rose & Thomas O’Connell, and Stanley & Margarita Luksha, his “Opa” Stan Gdowski, and Uncle Steve Kukta.
Matt was born in Worcester, and lived in Putnam & Eastford, CT and Westminster, MA before graduating from the Carpentry trade at Windham Technical High School in Willimantic, CT, as a member of the Class of 2006.  Matt had a passion for creating with his hands working as a snow maker at Mt. Wachusett as well as landscaping and carpentry fields for several area contractors. An artist at heart, Matt saw beauty in all forms and expressed his creativity through music, language, and love for others.  Matt had a knack for pushing the limits, most notably while behind the wheel of a speed boat or hitting slopes on his snowboard.  His happiest times were spent at the helm of the family pontoon boat, captaining memorable cruises around Wyman Pond while filling the air with loud music and laughter.  Matt’s larger than life personality and vibrant being will be forever present in the legacy that he leaves with all who loved him.  Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Funeral Service to be celebrated at 11AM Friday, December 7, 2018 in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Matthew M.
