Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Leoni

Margaret "Peggy"  Leoni
Clinton-Margaret A. “Peggy” Leoni, 64, passed away in her home on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She is survived by her siblings; Judy Fallavollita & husband John of Clinton; Paul Leoni & wife Theresa of Hubbardston; and Lucille Leoni & William Pender of Clinton; nieces, Shannon, Patricia, and Alexis Leoni, and Andrea Fallavolita; great-nieces Alexandria and Leah Leoni, two aunts, numerous cousins, and many dear friends.
Margaret was born in Clinton to the late Alexander & Eleanor (Lautizi) Leoni. She graduated from the Holy Family High School, Class of 1972 and obtained her bachelor’s Degree in science from Fitchburg State College. Peg worked for many years with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. She later accepted a position with the Federal Government-Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, working as a contractor enforcement specialist with the Division of Nursing Homes. Peg served for many years on the Board of Health for the Town of Clinton. She was a passionate person who enjoyed life to its fullest and was happiest while in the company of her family and friends. Peg was a music enthusiast who took pleasure in traveling, skiing, and spending time at the beach. She had a vibrant personality and danced like no one was watching. Funeral services are to be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
