Margaret Ellen Grady (LaBossiere)
Clinton-Margaret E. “Maggie” (LaBossiere) Grady, 86, passed away peacefully at Sterling Village on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, John R. Grady, who died in 1977 and their son Daniel T. Grady.  She is survived by her sons, Raymond M. Grady, husband of the late Betty Jean Grady, of Marlborough; John P. Grady of Maidens, VA; and James R. Grady & wife Judith of Worcester; grandchildren, Joseph M. Grady of Shrewsbury, Andrew J. Grady of Manchester, NH, Elizabeth Grady of Shrewsbury, Joshua Grady & wife Erica of Leominster, Tara Gulley & husband Charles of VA; and great-grandson Carter James Grady.  She leaves three siblings, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Margaret was born in Denver, Colorado to the late Arthur & Katherine (Rogan) LaBossiere.  Following her education, she met and married US Air Force Staff Sergeant John R. Grady, while assigned to Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado.  Upon relocation, the couple settled in Clinton, where, in addition to raising her family, Maggie worked as a clerk for the Ames and later Zayre’s Department Store for nearly thirty-five years until retiring.  She most enjoyed traveling, bus tours, playing bingo and completing puzzles.  Saturdays and Sundays were her days to watch college and professional football while enjoying the company of her family and friends.  Maggie was most proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, and will be lovingly missed as the matriarch of the family.  Funeral services are to be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.  Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5 until 7PM.
