Condolence: My sincerest sympathies. Dr. Gallagher was a compassionate human being. He my doctor along with my mom, my two sisters, my brother-in-law and my husband's doctor. He treated us with kindness and intelligence. We will all miss him dearly. Rest in peace, til we meet again.
Condolence: I was just hiking Mount Monadnock this morning when I learned of Dons passing from a fellow hiker.
I was shocked and unaware if any medical issues he was having. I last saw him several months ago on the trail. I only knew him from the many times we met and had brief conversations on the mountain. He was always smiling and excited about the hike and couldn't wait for winter weather to really arrive to enjoy the winter hiking and ski season that I know he loved. We missed him out there during his long back issues the year before. The mountain will be a little less of a joyous place because of his absence.
My sincerest condolences to his wife and other family, friends and colleagues.
Condolence: I always enjoyed my visits to his office. He was more than simply my foot doctor. He was a kind, considerate, intelligent human being. We always had interesting conversations. I will miss him.
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Dr. Gallagher's wife and family. Dr. Gallagher was a very caring, knowledgeable and compassionate Doctor and will be missed. I enjoyed being a patient of his and wish that he rests in peace. My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time.
Condolence: I was so surprised and sorry to see that Dr. Gallagher has passed away. He treated my mom for several years, the last few with increasing dementia, and he was wonderful with her. I hope he realized how much we appreciated him.
Condolence From: Dennis Lambert, Ranger Monadnock State Park
Condolence: Denise and family, it is so shocking to hear of Don’s passing. Working at the park I have met many great people, Don was on top of my list. He had a great personality and always full of energy! We had so many good conversations that I will miss greatly. I know he is in a better place, climbing higher mountains.
Condolence: Don's energy and enthusiasm was contagious. He immersed himself in everything he undertook. He was beloved by the resident doctors at MetroWest Medical Center and will be missed especially for his desire to be a lifelong learner.
Kathy and my thoughts and prayers will be with Denice and his family.
